Hassan Adan Hassan is a seasoned civil engineer and executive leader with over two decades of experience delivering major infrastructure, real estate, and sustainable construction programmes across Africa, Europe, and Asia. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ADHI Africa Holding Limited, a vertically integrated construction and manufacturing group headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda. Through ADHI, Hassan leads initiatives in affordable housing development, green building materials manufacturing, technical and vocational training, and urban development consultancy, with the goal of delivering scalable and sustainable housing solutions across East and Central Africa.

Under his leadership, ADHI has pioneered a climate-resilient and industrialised housing delivery model, integrating technical training through the AISLC Academy, sustainable building materials manufacturing, and IFC EDGE-certified green construction practices. The group’s flagship developments include projects such as Bwiza Riverside Homes in Kigali and Sisa Hill in Wakiso, Uganda, reflecting a broader vision of dignified and affordable housing for growing African cities. Hassan is also a recognized voice on sustainable urbanisation, affordable housing finance, and climate-resilient construction, and has represented ADHI at global forums including COP28, the World Economic Forum, and the African Union Housing Finance Forum.
